Helloo~
Choosing the right eyeshadow sometimes make us confused, and
intimidating. Just how can we choose one of that bunch options? Choosing
texture, hue, and brand can make crazy (definitely me), like how we supposed to
know which one we should have? Example like I’m a makeup beginner not a beauty
guru, which I should buy first? Don’t get scared-embrace it!
Like other makeup, eyeshadow is one of important things. The
tons of options give you much flexibility in choosing what the best for you.
Shadow come in every imaginable color, and can be found in loose powder,
compact powder, liquid, pencil, and cream.
- The most highly pigmented eyeshadow is typically loose powder, but this type has its weakness as the most difficult to control because it easiest to loose.
- Cream, pencil and liquid shadows are easy to apply, but crease more quickly than powder eyeshadows.
- The best texture to start with as a beginner is a compact powder, because it’s mix from cream and loose powder.
Remember that you’re just beginner (like me), so you don’t
need to have dozens of colors like an eyeshadows artist. I recommended that at
least you have three shades of eyeshadow in the same color palette. For
different looks require a light, medium, and dark eyeshadow. If you don’t want
o look overdone with your eyeshadow, you can choose palette that have three
shades like neutral tones, such as brown or grays. But, you can always choose
what might appeal to you and your style.
For me, I have non-glossy-glittered cream and compact
eyeshadows that I wear for my daily routine makeup. I (like) always wear
pinkish or orange mix with medium and dark brown. I choose browns because I can
use it for contouring my face too, so it’s more cheaper #lol. Ah, I also used
mate nude lipstick for eyeshadow and contouring when I’m in a rush or when I
got to wash my face and redo my makeup on travel or other occasion (which is I
hate the most).
