Do you guys know gradient lips? Yeeess, it’s a lip makeup that is hot trend in Asia, especially Korea, from 2014 until now. For everyone that have watched K-drama definitely know what gradient lips are, in the K-drama or music videos, actresses and everyone wear this lip makeup. And if you don’t know, it’s super easy to do! 

For diligent people, I made you a step by step tutorial that easy to follow. But if you’re a lazy, I left a tutorial note below too. Check! Check! Check!

 

1. Be sure that your lips are clean and don’t forget to moisturize it with lip balm.

2. Put your BB cream, or concealer (or both) to make your lips have same shade with your face. And great to be a canvas that makes applying makeup easier.

3. To make your lips doesn’t look so pale, use nude lipstick.

4. Blend it to make it natural with fingers.

5. Apply liptint or lipstick on the center of your lips, you can choose hot pink, red, orange or another color. Blend it over your lips by tapping with your fingers.

6. Finish it by applying face powder on the corner and it’s done.

For lazy people(like me), when applying bb cream over your face and apply it to your lips, then wear liptint or lipstick on the center, blend it, and it’s done. Even I’m lazy, I still recommend you to use the diligent steps, ‘cause it’s more beautiful than the lazy one.

FYI, this lip makeup is popular with “ulzzang” style, which is popular in Korea. It’s a makeup and fashion style to make users look younger, and baby faced, with simple casual fashion, and dolly-look makeup. The word “Ulzzang” itself means “best face”, which made this style is so popular among young people, even boys too!
